2007 Château Rayas Côtes du Rhône Château de Fonsalette Reserve - France, Rhône, Southern Rhône, Côtes du Rhône (9/24/2015)No prep. No decanting. This wine just showed us what it had from about 30 seconds after it was opened. Elegance, complexity, layers of flavor and amazing persistence made for an unforgettable experience. The flavors were amazing, with fruit, earth, licorice, meat and floral elements all floating in and out of the mix. Fabulous wine.

Nice note. I always like this as well as the Syrah, but don't see it so much.
