'07 Tobin James Reserve Petite Sirah

2007 Tobin James, Silver Reserve, Petite Sirah (list price $48 [came in fall 2010 club shipment], alcohol level 14.4%). This was an inky black wine, smooth as a baby’s bum; it showed mellow fruit and mild tannin in the middle, and finished nicely.

We drank it over two nights; first with BBQ spare ribs, and tonight with pasta in fresh tomato sauce, and Italian sausages.; and it matched very well with both.
