New(ish) Winery of Note! (Two Shepherds)

by Brian K Miller » Sun Sep 20, 2015 10:20 pm

So I celebrated International Grenache Day at a newish winery tucked away in an industrial park in Windsor. Two Shepherds Winery offers cool climate, very low alcohol Rhone wines, with a focus on Grenache. I really enjoyed his Grenache Blancs and his Grenache Gris, and the rose is very much made in that "salty"???? style I enjoy.
Kudos to William and his new winery (he has been making wines for a while, but this winery facility is new for him). http://twoshepherds.com/

He is also the local leader of the Rhone Rangers group, which put on an amazing tasting this summer at Campovida in Oakland. Good stuff!

Good to know!

But--thank god I'm over thinking I've got to taste one of everything, which was pretty much my goal 20 years ago. There are too many good wineries--I'll never catch up....
My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov
