WTN: Tough night (Dohhnoff, Diochon)

Dinner and a movie on the big screen tv. We should not have picked Guardians of the Galaxy. Turned it into a Groot day.

2006 Dönnhoff Norheimer Kirschheck Riesling Spätlese - Germany, Nahe (8/29/2015)
Several years of bottle age, and this is no longer a Kirschheck that I care for. The botrytis of the year is creeping in and obscuring the clear flavors that I prize in the Kirschheck bottling. Ah well. There are other vintages.

2012 Domaine Diochon Moulin-à-Vent - France, Burgundy, Beaujolais, Moulin-à-Vent (8/29/2015)
Not a fan of this vintage. It was hard and charmless. The fruit was tart. No pleasure from the wine.
