1er Cru "Morgeot." Shared at an offline in Brighton, Michigan during MO'COOL weekend. Strong lanolin and vanillin notes blending with light lemon/lemon curd note. Balanced and enough acid to give it some pleasing backbone. Really tasty and elegant. This was compared to a Domaine du Chateau de Chassagne-Montrachet Chassagne-Montrachet from the same vintage. Some preferred the wine from Chateau Chassagne-Montrachet but I definitely preferred the Morgeot. It was also well appreciated by the host of the party whose palate I respect. My only regret is that I have only one bottle of this left. It will elevate whatever occasion with which I grace it.
