NV Matthiasson Cabernet Sauvignon Quake Cuvee - USA, California, Napa Valley (8/13/2015)This wine, created to raise money for those affected by the Napa earthquake, is very classic in style. The fruit is blackcurrant and black cherry, the tannins grippy but not drying. Not too much oak here, and no hint of anything thick or overtly modern. There is plenty of stuffing to allow it to age gracefully for a number of years. Classic Cabernet.
