2006 St. Urbans-Hof Leiwener Laurentiuslay Riesling Spätlese - Germany, Mosel Saar Ruwer (8/9/2015)
This is a delicious burst of tropical goodness. It's almost into Scheurebe territory with the ripe mango and papaya elements. Yummy stuff!

St. Urbans Hof has drawn my attention these past couple of years, only wish I had noticed the high quality earlier David.

Those are some of my faves as well, Bob. The owner, Nik Weis, also makes wine (purchased grapes I believe)
under his own name. These can be quite good and very reasonably priced.

The Urban Riesling is indeed from purchased grapes, but the distinction of Nik Weis versus St. Urbans-Hof is pretty meaningless considering Nik is the primary owner of St. Urbans-Hof.

The Urban Riesling is even featured on the St. Urbans-Hof web site.
