This wine, of the Artist Series from Wash. State, was, I hoped, nearing maturity. But no, it had settled down a bit and the tannins were somewhat resolved but everything was still primary, with lots of plummy fruit. I think peak maturity is still 10 yrs. off but will probably reward patience. Too bad it was my only bottle. ABV of 14.1% and approx. 60% Cab. Franc and the rest Cab. Sauvignon with deep purple/black color and no bricking at edges.
