A wee BloodyPulpit:
1. HeidiSchrock is one of my most very favored Austrian producers. Her dessert wines really sing. Not sure exactly how this wine was made. The Spatlese suggests it was a late hrvst wine and the botrytis character is very quiet. It almost reminds me of a freezer ice wine, if anything (probably illegal in Austria).
The label is rather strange. It depicts pepper, ginger, catfish, lemon, tomato, pomengranate, fennel, lobster, cheese. Presume that suggested to accompany this wine.
