Tried these two last night w/ dinner:
1. Seghesio Arneis RRV/SonomaCnty (13.0%; www.Seghesi.com) Healdsburg 2012: Light yellow color; simple mango/fruity/floral very lightly stony nose; soft off-dry simple/pleasant fruity/mango rather mushy/muddled flavor; short soft fruity/mango off-dry very slightly stony finish; speaks very quietly of Arneis; about as dull an Arneis as I've had; disappointing. $17.00 (KK)

Bedrock Zin OldVine Calif (Vine age avg: 80 yrs; Drk: 2014-2019-2024: MTP; 14.5%; www.BedrockWineCo.com) Sonoma 2013: Very dark color; very strong blackberry/boysenberry/ripe Zin/very spicy bit peppery some dusty/OV light vanilla/oak very 4-Square Zin nose; somewhat tart/angular ripe/Zin/blackberry/boysenberry/raspberry/spicy rather dusty/OV light vanilla/oak flavor w/ light angular/bitey tannins; very long very spicy/blackberry/ripe Zin/peppery/raspberry rather dusty/OV light vanilla/toasty/oak finish w/ light hard/angular tannins; still needs several yrs; what a terrific OV Zin at a great price. $21.00

A wee BloodyPulpit:
1. I've generally like the previous Seghesio Arneis because they were on the austere/stony side of that grape. This rendition was just simple/fruity and just dull as dishwater.
