2001 Meulenhof Erdener Treppchen Riesling Auslese #18 - Germany, Mosel Saar Ruwer (7/26/2015)It has been seven years since I last opened one of these, and my how time has continued to work magic. Take a perfect peach, place it in a hardwood smoker, then drizzle it with vanilla infused honey. Oh my gosh this is so delicious. There's not much more to say except yum.

I've had a 98 Meulenhof Erdener Spat in the fridge for the past week, waiting for a break in the action. This weekend could be the time, and I'm more determined after your note.
