Saint-Chinian. A blend of Syrah (70 per cent), Grenache (20) and Black Carignan (10).

Leather, smoke and that "lovely" barnyard stink that I so often associate with Italian red wines.

Dusty, stewed cherries, earthy, leather, very rich, smoky, with some bitterness developing with air time.

Very, very long earthy and leathery finish.
