Labeled 13% abv. I have liked other vintages of this with the exception of the 2013--later read that 2013 was a rainy season in Spain and the wines suffered for it. 2014 vintage is back to form, thankfully. I had planned to have this with a baked chicken dish but opened it Friday after a busy day and went for a quicker meal of fish. I did try it with smoked Gouda cheese and bread with Tzatziki sauce as appetizers. A pale blush color, the wine suggests strawberries and lemon. Medium-length finish and balanced in regard to acidity and fruit. This was quite nice with the smoked Gouda cheese and not bad with the fish. I did enjoy it with the baked chicken the second evening. Refreshing and delicious, this was a perfect wine for many light summer meals or sipping on the patio or poolside. Well made. I have two more bottles for a late August wine tasting but may go back for additional bottles. Definitely better than the 2013 vintage.
