New arrivial at TJ's today:
1. TheConvoy SBC RW (37% CS/25% Grenache/17% Syrah/11% Tempranillo/10% PS; 14.10%) ReluctantWineCo/ArroyoGrande 2012: Med.color; fairly strong herbal/CS/blackcurranty/plummy/bit strawberry/blackberry light toasty/oak rather fragrant nose; slightly tart bit chalky/gritty strong plummy/herbal/Cab/strawberry/black cherry slight earthy/chalky flavor w/ light/gentle tannins; med.long fairly strong herbal/blackcurranty/Cab bit strawberry/plummy/blackberry light toasty/oak finish w/ light slight chalky tannins; not a profound wine but much more character & interest than most TJ's at this price point; speaks mostly of Cab; rather good value in a red. $9.00 (TJ)

A wee BP:
1. Reluctant is the LatetiaWnry on 101 just North of ArroyoGrande. When I see a TJ's wine from Reluctant/ArroyoGrande or CentralCoastWine/SantaMaria; ten I know it's probably a wine worth trying. This is one I'd recommend at this price.

Bless you! Passed this onto a friend who's not really a geek (though I'm training her!) and a big fan of Laetitia since stopping at the winery on a trip to L.A. They'll be very pleased about this tip.
My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov
