WTN: Ramsay Syrah '90...(short/boring)

1. Ramsay Syrah Calif (13%) 1990: Med.dark color w/ some bricking; light smokey/toasty/oak some blackberry/Syrah/peppery/licorice/pungent bit roasted/coffee/Rhonish fairly complex nose; soft rather metallic/tangy/steely slight blackberry/Syrah/licorice/coffee bit smokey/oak bit dried-out flavor w/ light drying tannins; med.long soft very tangy/metallic/drying out light smokey/oak slight blackberry/Syrah/licorice/coffee finish w/ light astringent/dried-out tannins; quite an interesting old Syrah nose but quite metallic/tangy/dried-out on the palate.

1. This was, I believe, KentRasmussen's first Syrah. Not sure where the grapes came from but I think over in Sonoma.
