WTN: Ridge Zin LyttonEast '03...(short/boring)

Since I couldn't bear to drink the Nebb, I cracked this last night w/ dinner:
1. Ridge Zin LyttonEast/DryCreekVlly/SonomaCnty (18% PS/6% Carignane; 15.1%; 54 brls; bttld: 3/05; Drk: 1/05-1/10-1/15: PD) Healdsburg 2003: Very dark color w/ no bricking; very strong blackberry/boysenberry/Zin/ripe/spicy some dusty/OV slight vanilla/Am.oak/smokey lovely rather ripe nose w/ no obvious alcohol or heat; soft slight alcoholic ripe/boysenberry/blackberry/Zin some spicy/peppery strong vanilla/Am.oak/smokey some dusty/OV rather structured flavor w/ light bitey tannins; very long soft bit metallic/bitey/alcoholic ripe/spicy/Zin/blackberry/boysenberry some Am.oak/vanilla finish w/ light bitey/angular/hard tannins; still plenty of ripe fruit (but not overripe or raisened) but not the incredible spiciness of the regular LS Zin; coming together slowly and may never be in balance.
