Color: Deep garnet.

Nose: Cherry, earth.

Taste: Dark fruit, raspberry, oak. Nothing really definitive except for the high alcohol.

Would pass next time. Not a bad wine, but nothing to attract attention either. A wine without an identity. If memory serves the alcohol content was 15.2%! A little on the high side for a Christmas lunch.
