WTN: Ojai PinotNoir SBC '13...(short/boring)

We tried this new arrival Fri night at dinner:
1. OjaiVnyd PinotNoir SantaBarbaraCnty (13.0%) 2013: Med.light color; very bright cherry/PN very spicy/cinammon light pencilly/toasty/oak slight earthy/mushroomy quite perfumed/fragrant nose; rather tart/lean/earthy very bright/vibrant/cherry/PN light earthy/mushroomy very spicy/cinammon flavor w/ light bit bitey/lean tannins; long bright/zippy/cherry/PN light pencilly/toasty/Fr.oak slight earthy/mushroomy finish w/ light/bitey tannins; a pretty wine but nothing special right now and needs 3-5 yrs to show its stuff..if it has it. $34.00

A wee BloodyPulpit:
1. This is a Pinot definitely in Adam's leaner/more restrained/less ripe style; one that won't play well in Monktown. It's quite a pretty Pinot, on the lean side w/o seeming green nor eviscerated. Time will tell what this turns into but I'm optomistic.
