Tried this last night w/ fresh raspberries & honey-flavored fresh ricotta:
1. SusanBalbo Virtuoso Malbec LateHrvst (14.0%; RS: 12.0%; http://www.DominioDelPlata.com.AR; U/U) Mendoza/Argentina 2005: Dark color w/ some browning; intense late hrvsty/raisened/pruney/chocolaty rather porty bit hot/volatile nose; quite sweet rather porty/cough syrup/late hrvsty/raisened/pruney/chocolaty some hot/fumey/alcoholic flavor w/ light/rough tannins; med.long very sweet/porty/alcoholic/hot cough syrup/raisened/pruney/late hrvsty finish w/ light/coarse tannins; pretty dominated by the porty/late hrvsty character and not much interest. $25.00/500 ml (LB)

Yup, David...on release it had huge boysenberry fruit. It went the way of many LateHrvsts. As it lost fruit, all that was left was the pruney/raisened component.
