WTN: 2010 Foillard Fleurie

by Rahsaan » Sun May 31, 2015 9:02 am

2010 Foillard Fleurie was a nice multilayered bottle of fresh silk. Much more enjoyable than the 2011 I opened last month, which needs more time. Although I'm still not convinced that the extra money is worth it for these Fleurie in comparison to the CdP.

What? I thought the wisdom of the Internet ensured that the rare and more expensive bottling was clearly required! ;)

Indeed. I haven't had it in a while, but I have enjoyed the 3.14 bottling in the past, and found it worth the money if one was in the mood. But from my massive sample of two bottles of the Fleurie, it doesn't seem to offer the same thrills, even if clearly delicious and well done.

I have a couple more bottles of the 2011 Fleurie and will hold on to them for a while, to see what may happen.

My sampling is even less massive (1 bottle of Fleurie) but agree.
Seldom see 3.14 offered, to me it's worth the splurge if I do see.
