2014 Matthiasson White Wine Limerick Lane Vineyard - USA, California, Napa Valley (5/9/2015)
This was a wine club shipment, and one of the more unusual blends I had seen. Furmint I had tasted many times in various Austrian whites, but this was my first exposure to Harslevelü. In combination they made for a lemony, slightly herbal wine with good refreshment value. It was fun to try it. I doubt I would go out of my way for it, but it was good to drink this bottle. Overall it actually reminded me of a cross between Muscadet and Sancerre.

Interesting TN, David. That was for WineClub members only, so I couldn't order it. But I did order the Refosco,
which I liked a lot (TN to follow today). Have you tried the Schioppettino yet? That one really interested me.
I've got the LimerickLane Furmint on the way.

Have not yet opened the Schioppettino. It will likely be very late in May before I get to it.
