Leonard Oakes Winery is about to release this, made from Vidal grapes. I'm going to have to grab some.

Thanks for the “heads-up” Howie! Not very many commercial winemakers venture into making “unusual wines”. The “rippasso style” Vidal wine (“re-using” the skins from the Vidal ice wine) sounds quite interesting.

I stopped by a couple of weeks ago and didn't see any signs of it. Probably too early. An orange LH Vidal does sound interesting. Not long ago we had a terrific Vidal Ice Wine from Hunt Country on Keuka Lake.
