Larry brought this opened wine for me to try last night:
1. Vino di Anna VinoBianco WW (13.5%; LNC012; www.IndieWines.com) Solicchiata NV: Deep golden/burnished bronze/slightly browning quite cloudy/murky color; med.light ripe/cidery/phenolic/bit resiny some earthy/dusty nose w/ virtually no fruit that I can find; very soft slight pencilly/chalky quite earthy/dusty light phenolic/cidery/resiny flavor w/ light/bitey tannins; med.short soft/flat light phenolic/resiny/cidery some earthy/dusty finish w/ a dreadful wet dog fur/wet army blankey/mouse nest/hantavirus aftertaste that well up in the back; not much intensity and not that tannic/phenolic; an orange wine-Lite and not a very good one at that.

A wee BloodyPulpit:
1. This is an "orange" wine made in qvervi from Carricante grapes from the slopes of MtEtna/Sicily by AnnaMartens. Not familiar w/ her wines. Not had any wines from the IndieWines importer before, but they have a very/very interesting portfolio.
