Tried these three w/ Susan over the weekend:
1. Sandlands CheninBlanc AmadorCnty (12.8%) StHelena 2012: Med.light yellow color; lightly floral/pear/spicy light mineral/stony/chalky bit dusty quite attractive nose; rather tart/clean/crisp chalky/stony light floral/pear/apple flavor; med.long crisp/clean/tart bright/floral/pear/quince finish; a very pretty/zippy/bright rendition of CB much like the Chalone '07; not what you'd expect from an Amador white. $25.00 (CB)

Dubaril Gamay Romand VdP (12%; L-42AJ1; MeBenC; www.SwissCellars.com) UvaVins-Cave de la Cote/Morges/Suisse NV: Med.ruby red color; rather earthy/dusty some Bojo-like some grapey/strawberry/Gamay/spicy/peppery quite attractive nose; rather tart earthy/dusty/granatic bit metallic/tangy light Gamay/fruity/strawberry rather spicy/peppery attractive flavor w/ light tannins; med. quite earthy/dusty/stony some grapey/strawberry/Gamay peppery/spicy finish w/ light tannins; a bit like an earthy/dusty Cru Bojo w/o the fruit, a bit like an AltoAdige Schiava; a rather earthy/rustic red. $18.00 (CB)

LaGalope Rose IGP: Comte Tolosan Cotes de Gascone (CabSauv/Merlot; 12%) Vins de l'Herre/Manciet 2014: Very pale/salmon color; bright cranberry/juicy/watermelon fairly perfumed bit earthy quite attractive nose; rather tart/dry juicy/cranberry/watermelon/strawberry slight earthy flavor w/ little tannins; med.long tart juicy/strawberry/cranberry/waternelon/spicy bit earthy/dusty finish w/ little tannins; an absolutely delicious/juicy rose at a great price; lots of juicy cranberry fruit w/o straying into tutti-frutti territory of many roses. $14.00
