From Cellar Tracker: Had with pork roasted with oranges and onions, some wine went into the pot, too.
I was expecting too much oak but I was pleasantly surprised with a nicely balanced Chardonnay, more Burgundy-like than California.
The wine looks straw colored. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like apple, flint, oak and stoniness. It tastes like apple, mineral, oak and stoniness. The body is light/medium. The wine has smooth texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has low acidity.
I liked this better than I thought I would, especially with Liz and me being red wine drinkers for the most part.

Jon: sounds as tho they cut back on the oak a bit, am working my way through a 6 pack of the 2011 and, while a nice drink, the oak seems more prominent than in your notes re the 2012.
