Now here is a winery you don't hear about much anymore. (I believe they recently sold their property/vineyard and are in the process of acquiring a new site).
This is another orphan that should have been consumed maybe 4 or 5 years ago...I should have known better than to keep this one as long as I did. Not unpleasant, but simple/uninspiring/lacking structure. There is only a slight fade at the rim and the nose holds great promise with distinct notes of mature black cherry/cassis/cedar. The palate is a quite diffent story. Light bodied with a soft/missing mid-palate. The tannins have fully integrated and provide little support for the fruit and acids. Well down the slope and should be comsumed ASAP if you have any.
