Susan & I tried this Fri night:
1. EugeneCarrel Jongieux AC: Vin de Savoie (Jacquere; 11.5%) Jongieux 2013: Pale yellow near colorless; very fresh/clean appley/quince light floral/apple blossom fairly stony/chalky/bit metallic rather pretty nose; very tart metallic/chalky/stony/mineral some apple/quince very tangy/steely flavor; med. metallic/steely/tangy/stony/chalky bit apple/quince/floral finish; a pretty little crisp/tangy/steely white that should appeal to those who worship at the altar of terroir. $12.00

1. This is the most recent CarrelJongieux to show up here in NM. I find that a lot of the Savoie wines really hit a sweet spot w/ me for just plain ole good drinking at a very fair price. This was one such.
