2001 St. Urbans-Hof Piesporter Goldtröpfchen Riesling Auslese - Germany, Mosel Saar Ruwer (3/7/2015)
14 years old? There is no way this wine is 14 years old. It's still fresh as it was on release. The fruit is still primary, all tropical and peach with that honey coating that can only be Goldtropfchen. It's beautifully balanced, making it very drinkable. There are miles to go for this wine, even until it reaches a plateau of maturity. Delicious stuff.
