2012 Littorai Pinot Noir The Haven - USA, California, Sonoma County, Sonoma Coast (3/4/2015)
Followed this wine over the course of 3 hours, and overall it showed quite simple. There was a lot of red fruit, as well as some floral chanracter, but not a lot of palate depth or complexity. This was the sixth 2012 Littorai Pinot I had tried, and by a long shot the most fruit forward and monolithic. Nice enough wine, but didn't hold a candle to any of the other 2012s from this producer that I have previously opened. For $25 I would have been very happy. For what it actually cost...not so much. I will just bury my other 2 bottles and see what happens.
