Tuscan bottle question

by Tom NJ » Wed Feb 18, 2015 11:55 am

My local wine store just sent out a mailing that trumpets an Unbelievable! Wine! Sale! in the form of a 12-dollar bottle of 2011 Viticcio Bere.

It's been a while since I've had any Tuscans at all, and I was wondering if this one was any good since I wouldn't mind trying one again and the price is right. Knowing it's not a "Super Tuscan", anybody here think it's at least decent for a lower tier example?

Bere is ok in an international style (merlot and sangio). A little soft for me, prefer their Chianti Classico,
Zachys always has fior $12-13, often blows out at $7.50
It was a good deal when they had at $60/cs
