WTN: Non-vintage Hardys Whiskers Blake Classic Tawny

An eight-year Tawny Port from Australia listed at 18% alcohol by volume. Grenache and Shiraz grapes. Nice light amber color. I find caramel toffee, orange zest, hazelnut, and dried fruits in the flavors. It gently warms the mouth and throat rather than burning with alcoholic heat. It held up for over a week of sipping once opened. The label mentions rancio characteristics. This is an inexpensive alternative to Tawny Ports from Portugal, It could also be listed under value wines. Enjoyable.

I've always liked this one! Haven't had in quite some time but I think I need to find again.
