Tong: Nebbiolo Styles

by TomHill » Tue Feb 10, 2015 6:56 pm

Quite an interesting article be LarsDaniels in Tong magazine:

NebbStyles

on the different styles of Nebbiolo, primarily focused on the B/B part of Langhe. One of the better discussions of "traditionalist" vs. "modernist" and how those issues are pretty much a thing of the past. He asserts that the "modernists" attention to work in the vnyd as greatly improved the quality of the "traditionists".

Tong (a Dutch magazine) has a whole issue on Nebbiolo, but I can't figure out how to access the other articles.

Anyway....a good read in Tong. If the subject line suggests you'd see a lot of Nebbiolo producers in different styles of Thongs...sorry to disappoint. :-)
