Friulano is a signature white from the area of northeast Italy and bordering Slovenia. It recently has begun popping up in the Finger Lakes too. The characteristic taste is of bitter almonds which this has in spades. Not as subtle as some other Italian Friulanos, but refreshing and distinctively different from more common white wines. Purchased for just $10 in Buffalo.

Did you pick this up when you came for your juice?
Chico - Hey! This Bottle is empty!
Groucho - That's because it's dry Champagne.

Probably not Howie. I think it was when Nancy wanted to do some Christmas shopping at the Gourmet store. That was more than a good excuse for me to stop in at the wine shop next door.
