2006 Domaine du Vieux Télégraphe Châteauneuf-du-Pape La Crau - France, Rhône, Southern Rhône, Châteauneuf-du-Pape (2/2/2015)Very approachable at this stage. Tannic at the start, but two hours in a decanter while I made dinner made this perfectly balanced and lovely. Black fig and dates, dried currants, and a lamb-like gamey finish dusted with spice. Glad I have a few of these left.

Sounds good.
2006 was a more well-mannered vintage in CNdP. Somewhere in the cellar I still have some '06 Pegau. Need to dig one up.

Vieux Telegraphe is probably my favorite CdP across the years.
