Solano County (Suisun Valley), California

The wine is about 60% Petite Sirah from Babylon, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon from Wolfskill; the remaining 10% is Cinsault from Bechtold and Syrah from Hudson, a quadrivium of noble vineyard sources

Made in a cute red barn less than five miles from where I am sitting typing this! This is a very juicy wine, with layers of blackberry and cherry fruit, tangy earthy and herbal notes. Dominant palate cleansing acidity-maybe not quite as unbalanced as a couple of the young Donkey and Goat wines when in their juvenile state but for those who don;t like acid, this is not for you!
