"Le Vaucrain" Opened Jan. 15, 2015. Purchased from Burgundy Wine Company. 13% abv. Nearly opaque purple in a regular pour but shows some transparency as the glass drains. This is in a very mellow drinking window--integrated and delightful. It has some bing cherry notes but also some plummy notes. The wine is a good advertisement for the possible charms of lower-tiered Burgundies.
