A wee BloodyPulpit:
1. These prices are the Jaffurs pre-release prices. The Syrah should be on the shelf around $27/btl. A terrific buy at that price.

2. This is the 3'rd Jaffurs '13 white I've tried (BienNacido Viognier/Stolpman Roussanne the other two). In the past, the Jaffurs whites have tended to be on the soft/ripe side, sometimes a bit porky. These three '13's seem to be a bit more tart, but not at all lean & eviscerated; all packed w/ lovely aromatics & flavors. Some of the best Viog/Rouss/GB around.

3. The Jaffurs SBC Syrah (and the Ojai SBC Syrah) are always two my favorite basic-level Syrahs. This '13 maybe be the best one yet. Jump on it when it's released.
