Last night was a lovely dinner of fresh pumpkin ravioli and sauteed spinach with orange muscat vinegar and a rocking bottle of 2012 Descombes Morgon VV. This has always delivered the elegant crystal silky crunch. And keeps proving bottle after bottle how such a combination is possible!
And much more expressive than a recent bottle of 2013 Descombes Morgon which has been going in and out of pleasure over the past few months. The 2013 Descombes Regnié on the other hand seems to be loosening up and showing its juicy high-toned loveliness in a very accessible way.
