What'll it be, folks! Bubbly has bombed as a past Focus topic, hasn't it?

Couple of ideas>

1. Grenache/Mourvedre/Syrah.
2. Bordeaux-style blends.
3. Just plain ole Cab Sauv, maybe a certain area?

We've beaten the GSM grapes to death.

Bubbly is too close to celebration wines.

I have some Sangiovese I would love to open, and it's good with winter foods.

How about Sangiovese from anywhere and red wines from Tuscany including those from non-traditional grapes like the super Tuscans or baby super Tuscans?

From David to JC to Thomas, better than Tinker to Evers to Chance. Sangiovese and Tuscan (style) reds sounds awesome to me. Among my favorite wines, and I've been following them since the very start. (Well, not the 1300s, but since MY very start. )
