Thanks. Tom.

Panther Creek is one of those success in adversity stories (think Kistler down in Sonoma), a winery that had a bright, impressive future ahead of it, with some startlingly good Pinots, then had a back to back two year catastrophe that humbled them, with a severe microbial spoilage problem that set then back seriously, requiring them to triage some incredible single vineyard lots (Temperance, Shea, etc.) and for the first time come out with a non-denominational blend to keep the sales going and the doors open.

Yet the survived, worked to get that behind them, and are staunchly rebuilding their reputation. The PG is part of that, and the PNs are soaring again. They have a new, better, and more tourist-populated tasting room (formerly on the back side of McMinnville, now in the Dundee/Newberg corridor on Hwy. 99.

Panther Creek was a serious contender for St. Innocent/Ken Wright status (and had access to some of the same brilliant vineyards. Then they stumbled. And now they're coming back stylishly.
