Apart from the Chardonnay, I've enjoyed the Ridges we've received in recent years. So in the name of science I opened a far too young
Geyserville 2011. Quite a bit of oak, a fairly forward and open style compared to the 2009 I recently tried. Voluptuous fruit-cake flavours, but it does finish dry and savoury with a nice juicy aspect to the acidity. So it's young, not quite as tight and structured as my memory of the previous two years, but I think this should be nice a few years. Thank you for not drinking everything nice you produce and letting some be exported!

Though at over 40€ I'm not sure this will be a regular purchase. I mean, Musar is still cheaper.
I don't drink wine because of religious reasons ... only for other reasons.
