WTN: Qupe Marsanne '89...(short/boring)

Tried my 2'nd btl of this last weekend:
1. Qupe Marsanne LosOlivosVnyd/SBC (TW) 1989: Deep golden/burnished bronze color; strong toasted hazelnuts/nutty/smokey very slight oxidized/fino sherry somewhat honeyed/mead/earthy very complex old WhiteRhone nose; bit tart/tangy/metallic strong toasted hazelnuts/nutty/smokey/bit appley slight fino sherry/oxidized quite honeyed/mead/lush very complex flavor; very long/lingering honeyed/honey comb/mead/nutty/toasted hazelnuts slight fino sherry/oxidized complex finish; quite a good example of an old WhiteRhone and still offers up lots of pleasure. $14.00

A wee BloodyPulpit:
1. I had the 1'st btl from this box about a month ago and it was pretty far gone. Rather murky/brown color, noticibly oxidized, and the bitter character of an overaged white. This btl was in far/far better condition and a pleasure to drink.
