An excellent lunch pairing today with a fresh baked potato dressed with fresh shaved black truffle in melted butter and a green salad. The citrusy fruit in the wine spoke to the sweetness of the potato and the earthiness of the minerals and seashells ganged up with the truffle and salt. Big on the palate, almost Grand Cru big, and in prime shape right now. Ever so happy to have the rest of a case to look forward to.
