I have a few bottles of NV Fitz-Ritter Riesling Extra Trocken Sekt from the Pfalz with an APR # ending in "11". Can I assume that the grapes for this sparkler came from the 2010 vintage or might this be an assemblage of several vintages? Just curious!

I don't know the specific wine, but technically the last two digits are for the year the finished wine was submitted for testing. So it could very easily be an assemblage of multiple vintages of wine.

Likely an NV assemblage.

I did e-mail Fitz-Ritter and they replied that my bottling was made from grapes of the 2009 year.
