WTN: The Electric Kirschheck Acid Test

by David M. Bueker » Wed Nov 26, 2014 11:36 am

2013 Dönnhoff Norheimer Kirschheck Riesling Spätlese - Germany, Nahe (11/26/2014)
This is a delicious young vintage of Kirschheck. It has all the peach and cherry fruit that is there year after year, built on a framework of electric acids and precise focus. I am one to age bottles of Dönnhoff Rieslings (despite the urban legends warning against that), but it will be very hard to do anything other than drink these up ASAP. The wine is just too beautiful right now.
