Sunday Chat

by James Roscoe » Sun Nov 16, 2014 11:07 am

The Holidays are upon us. Come to chat to discuss food pairs. Watch the game and discuss wine. What better way to spend a late Sunday afternoon? Come to discuss your wine, food and other interesting aspects of the past week. Here are the times when the fun gets started: at 4 p.m. Eastern Time; 3 p.m. Central Time; 2 p.m. Mountain Time; 1 p.m. Pacific Time; 9 p.m. in the K; 10 p.m. in Italy, France, Germany, and Sweden; 11 p.m. in Finland and Israel; 8 a.m. Monday in Sydney and environs; and 10 a.m. Monday in New Zealand. I believe these are all corrected for standard time changes. If I am off, let me know. Please let me know when the time changes your neck of the woods so I remember to make the appropriate changes.

The fun starts HERE!!!!!!!

Not sure if I will make it today. Our internet connection is unreliable due to some upgrade being worked on. So if you find I'm not there, it's because I can't come in...

I am here all alone, but I get bored quickly!

Hey Bob. I was at the Party Source in Newport Ky. last week and picked up a bunch of wine in the huge close-out isle. Gosset NV for $30, Sbragia Home Vyd. Chard. for 15$ (maybe too big for you but I love it), Beringer Quantum Cabernet approx. $27. Check it out if you get over that way.

Jim,

I rarely do the Party Source anymore. In fact I don't do much at all except for buying a few bottles locally. I have picked up a case of (all things) colombard lately. Anyone that hasn't had good colombard would be surprised with the first taste of this.
