2011 A.J. Adam Dhronhofberger Riesling Kabinett - Germany, Mosel Saar Ruwer (11/16/2014)Shockingly this was available at the hotel bar in Shanghai. Nice stuff that shows brighter than most (all?) from the vintage, with plenty of lime laced peach fruit and lots of stuffing. Typically big Kabinett, as 2011 gave no small wines.

I know nothing about wine culture in China, but despite the stereotypes of label chasing and drinking adulterated wine, the country is so massive I would imagine there have to be pockets of sophisticated/hip drinkers?

Not sure how this came about. Same place had a very tasty Austrian Chardonnay.
