WTN: Juniper Crossing Cabernet Sauvignon-Merlot 2003

by Bruce Hayes » Tue Dec 19, 2006 9:46 am

Margaret River.

Chocolate and berries on the nose.

Medium-weight, dusty, black olives, blood pudding/iodine, black cherry, somewhat herbal. Much firmer and blacker than previous bottles, which, as I recall, featured softer, more forward fruit.

Screwcap closure.

Bruce
The Juniper estate (i.e. own fruit) wines are really picking up these days - well worth hunting down if you haven't already.
regards
Ian
