Nearly dry (it started out halbtrocken), but showing lots of green fruit (limes, underripe pineapple), loads of minerals and a bit of phenolic dryness, this is still a bit closed. A hint of creaminess is starting to show on the palate, so hopefully further evolution is coming. Right now the wine is an enjoyable window into the terroir of the Dellchen (more so than the sweeter spatlesen and auslesen, though that will come with time).
