2004 Ferrando Carema Black Label (Etichetta Nera) - Italy, Piedmont, Northern Piedmont, Carema (11/8/2014)
Elegance, elegance. That is the hallmark of this wine. Red fruit, subtle earth and hints of spice and leather all come together in a youthful but very approachable package. The tannins are not aggressive. The flavors are persistent, and the overall balance of fruit and acidity makes it a lovely dinner wine. Very satisfying.
